I was out of town for a week on a golf trip with guys from work. My life is tough, I tell ya.
I'm back now so here's a slew of pictures from some of our family fun over the past several weeks:
--Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo
--Our first ever camping trip
--Miscellaneous cuteness and craziness
Also, my friend Hal followed our friend Debby's lead and put a music playlist on his blog, so I've now done the same. If you scroll alllllll the way down to the bottom of this page, you'll see my playlist and can listen to it. I haven't set it to "autoplay" for every visitor; that way people won't be surprised to come to my blog and wonder where the music is coming from! I've enjoyed listening to other people's selections and having it run in the background while I'm working.
In a couple of days I'll continue the family update with some stories. Later!

Adam is going to be so jealous of those tractor pics!
I think it's so fun that you had a family camping trip. I hope we get around to doing that one day. Love the picture of you and Jack. And look at Jamie...camping with her manicured nails. Now that's a woman! :)
You, sir, have some cute kidlets. Enjoy every minute. It's hard to believe how quickly they grow!
Wow the kids are really getting big. The time seems to go by so fast.
Michael- You've got the cutest kids ever...but you knew that, right! Nice to put a name with a face now.
Ah ha! Now I understand why you use the name RedLefty! I thought you must have been a communist or something. Cute kids! Glad you had fun. Camping is good family time.
Once we went camping on December 27th for one of my boy's birthday celebrations. It got so cold that night that we couldn't sleep. About midnight we piled into the car and drove home to sleep in the heat. We went back the next day to resume our campout at breakfast. We left our tent set up and everything.
Great pics, Michael!! Thanks for posting them. Even the censored "Boys Gone Wild" one. LOL
AJ, Adam really needs to get down here one day for the Rodeo. Rows and rows of huge tractors and hundreds of farm animals to play with!
Orange, I get that a lot with my name, heh. Actually I'm just red-haired and left-handed.
And it got down into the mid-40s both nights of our camping trip, although the weathermen said it'd never get below 53. Air mattresses were not a good choice for us that weekend! Sleeping on cold air is not what humans were designed for.
OH, MY GOODNESS--Miss Sam LOOKS LIKE she's already '13'!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even her EYEBROWS are filling in!!
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! And, standing by that BIG JD TIRE with her hand on her hip, she looks like a MODEL!!!!!!!!! WHAT A CUTIE!!!!!
And, Mr. Jack in those BEADS--WHOA!
He's a CUTIE, TOO!!!!!!!!
And, SWEATERS/JACKETS in Houston??
Must have been in the 50's or something, huh??!!! Just kidding. Ok, I saw where you said it was '40'--that IS COLD, anywhere!!!
That CAMPING OUT is NOT for me--but, SO GLAD ya'll ENJOY IT!!!!!
There's NOTHING like BEING ONE WITH NATURE, right??!!!!!!!!! And, APPRECIATING THE ONE WHO MADE IT/US ALL!!!!!!!!!! LOVE YA'LL!!!!
